### ✨ Compatibility - **Cut works with Dynamic Trees.** Cutting a Dynamic Trees trunk dropped nothing, because those trees work out their wood themselves when a player chops them. Cut now chops the trunk the way you would with an axe, so the tree falls and drops its logs as Dynamic Trees decides. ### 🛡️ Protection - **Rock Smash and Charge respect claims and spawn protection.** They worked inside another player's claim (Open Parties and Claims, FTB Chunks…) and inside spawn protection; now they refuse there, like Cut, Dig and Strength already did. ### 🐛 Fixes - **Outrage** only works on your own Pokémon, and never on one that is battling, fainted or busy. - **Shadow Sneak** no longer sets off sculk, drops a stale nametag team, and lets you sprint while riding. - **Jump** lands you safely, the way Jump Boost does. - **Flash** lets the Warden's Darkness through. - **Stockpile** follows bucket rules when it drinks and spits. - **Calm Mind** keeps the Pokémon's size, and asks first when an Alpha can't come back. - **Absorb** leaves thrown, contested and unfittable items alone, with a capped speed and radius. - **Rock Climb** needs real wall contact, holds on while you descend, and takes no fall damage. - **Strength respects what a block can and can't be moved.** It no longer pushes bedrock, barriers, end portal frames or spawners, half a door, bed, tall flower or PC, an extended piston, or Cobblemon's machines. It won't push through spawn protection or in adventure mode, past the top or bottom of the world (where the block used to vanish with its contents), into a player or Pokémon, or a torch or flower off its support. A lectern's book and a campfire's food are no longer duplicated, a waterlogged block can be pushed and leaves its water behind, and fences and walls re-join their new neighbours. Packs can add blocks to `#cobblemon_hms:strength_immovable`. - **HM Case: only plain TMs go in.** A renamed TM, or one whose move Cobblemon no longer knows, stays in your inventory. Taking TMs out never loses any, in creative too, and closing the bag right after a click keeps it closed. - **Magnet Rise** no longer cancels other ways of flying, and lands you softly when the aura ends. - **Swift gets a mount up to speed in about half the time and never sends it backwards.** It used to double the acceleration stat, which Cobblemon reads as a time to top speed: a slow mount barely changed, and a well-raised one (stat above ~50) accelerated in reverse.

### 🐛 Fixes - **Endure works after updating from an older config.** A config whose Helping Hand power was 10, the old maximum, kept that 10, which Endure reads as 1.0× its Stamina, so switching it on changed nothing. Every old Helping Hand power now moves to the new default, 20, and a config 4.0.0 already moved with Endure left at 10 is fixed the same way.

**Ditto HMs is now Cobblemon HMs, and your HMs come from your Pokémon.** You no longer learn HMs yourself. A Pokémon of yours that has learned the move lends it to you while it is out and near you (24 blocks), and you pick everything from Cobblemon's own interaction wheel. Working costs it fullness, so keep a few berries on you. > ⚠️ **Remove the old `cobblemon-ditto-hms-…` jar when you update.** The mod id is now > `cobblemon_hms` and the jars are `cobblemon-hms-fabric-…` and `cobblemon-hms-neoforge-…`; to the > loader the two are different mods and both would load. > > **Your world carries over and nothing you paid for is lost.** HM Cases, discs and the config file > are read from the old name. Every HM you had learned is forgotten on join and **its trigger item > is put back in your inventory**; an old HM disc in a chest trades for its trigger item on a > right-click. ### 🏷️ New name: Cobblemon HMs - **The command is now `/hms`** (it was `/dittohm`). - **Your key binding for the HM wheel goes back to its default** once, because its id changed. - **A new mod icon**: the HM Case in the Cobblemon frame, in the mod list of both loaders. ### 🐾 How it works - **Open the interaction wheel on one of your sent-out Pokémon and pick _Field moves_.** It lists what that Pokémon can do: every HM whose move it has learned, one of its four or a move it learned and later swapped out. Hover an HM and its tooltip says what it does. A server that wants the looser rule turns it off with `/hms config requiremove false`. - **The wheel is sorted by kind**, clockwise from the top: - **Partner HMs**, lent to your empty fist, one partner at a time: Cut, Rock Smash, Dig, Leafage, Strength, Teleport, Stockpile, Camouflage, Charge, Tail Whip, Growth, Minimize, Outrage, Calm Mind, Celebrate and Decorate. - **Auras**, switched on per Pokémon, as many as you like: Magnet Rise, Jump, Dive, Flash, Rock Climb, Lava Plume, Absorb, Lucky Chant, Shadow Sneak, Sweet Scent and Snowscape. - **Weather auras**, one at a time, the last one switched on wins: Rain Dance, Thunder, Sunny Day, Blizzard, Sandstorm and Mist. - **Mount toggles**, active while you ride that Pokémon: Surf, Tailwind, Swift, U-turn, Endure and Agility. - **Putting a Pokémon back in its ball** switches its auras and weather off and stops it lending. Mount toggles stay on. - **The HUD lists every HM in effect** in its top-left corner, grouped by kind, each with its icon. Turn it off with `/hms config hud false` or in the config screen. Auras no longer show as potion effects. - **Riding your own Pokémon, sneak + right-click opens its Field moves**, so you can switch Surf, Agility and the rest mid-ride. - **The summary's Ride tab draws what your HMs add** as its own lighter layer over the Pokémon's riding stats. ### 🍓 Your Pokémon get hungry - **HMs cost the Pokémon doing them fullness**, Cobblemon's berry bar: a quarter of a point per use, and a fifth of a point a minute for each aura, weather or ridden mount toggle it keeps on. - **At 0 fullness it keeps working, but each point it can't pay costs 5 friendship**, and it sulks while that happens. **At 0 friendship it refuses to do HMs** until its friendship comes back up. - **Right-click your own Pokémon with any berry to feed it**: +1 fullness and one berry used. Oran, Sitrus, Lum and the other berries Cobblemon already uses still heal or cure as before. - **Operators set the upkeep of each HM on its own** with `/hms config upkeep`: a table of every HM with its fullness cost and friendship loss, on Fabric and NeoForge. An HM nobody tuned follows the world-wide numbers. ### ✨ New and changed HMs - **Thunder is a weather aura** that brews a thunderstorm, raining anywhere like Rain Dance. A bolt comes down a few blocks away when you switch it on; that one is only for show. - **Endure replaces Helping Hand** and **raises the mount's Stamina stat** (2× by default, up to 100), shown in the summary while you ride. Mudbray, Mudsdale and Tauros lend it. - **Decorate rolls once an hour to make a Pokémon shiny for good**, at Cobblemon's own shiny odds; Luck improves them. - **Dig is its own HM again** for dirt, sand, gravel, clay and snow; Rock Smash keeps stone and ore. - **Fog is now Mist**, from the move Mist, and its fog is the same grey mist everywhere, sky included. - **Rain Dance rains wherever you are**, deserts, the Nether and the End included, and it is real rain within 16 blocks: it puts out fires and burning mobs, lets Riptide work and counts for rain spawns and evolutions. - **Sandstorm is a storm you can see** in any biome and dimension, and everyone nearby sees it too. - **Snowscape is a plain aura** and runs alongside the weather auras. - **Cut fells one tree** and makes one chop, not a hundred break sounds. - **Leafage grows a 7×7 patch** instead of 11×11 by default. - **Growth and Minimize move a Pokémon one size at a time** and visibly resize it. - **Celebrate and Tail Whip have no cooldown**, and Rock Smash and the other HMs without one keep up with fast clicking. - **Flash brightens the world with Iris shader packs too**. - **Lava Plume makes you fire immune like a Strider**: no flames on screen or on your body. - **Charge glows with redstone dust** you can see on the block's faces. - **Sweet Scent rises from the Pokémon** as pink dust, and calls a wild Pokémon about once a minute through Cobblemon's Poké Snack rules. - **Camouflage wears the right Radical Cobblemon Trainers skin**. - **Jump comes from the move Splash**, so any Pokémon that knows it can lend it. - **Merged**: Cut takes in X-Scissor, Leafage takes in Rototiller (crouch to till), Stockpile takes in Water Gun and Eruption. ### 🧳 HM Case and Trainer Ditto - **The HM Case is a TM bag**: it holds as many Cobblemon TMs as you like, with search, and "Put TMs away" stores every TM you carry. It is no longer crafted: **the Trainer Ditto gives you one** the first time you talk to it. - **The Trainer Ditto sells six random TMs a visit for relic coins, pouches and sacks.** A TM costs more, and turns up less, the later Pokémon learn its move; TM-only moves are the dearest. Every price and weight is in `config/cobblemon_hms/trader_offers.json`, reloaded with `/hms config trader reload`. - **It turns up at random**, with the configured interval as its average, and you hear its cry instead of reading a chat message. ### ⚙️ Config - **NeoForge has a config screen**: the Config button in the mod list opens the same Cloth Config menu as Mod Menu on Fabric. It needs Cloth Config; `/hms config` works without it. - **`/hms config <hm>`** shows that HM's values next to the defaults, and `/hms config show` lists every world-wide setting. Cooldowns and power are offered only where an HM reads them. - Settings nothing read any more are removed from `cobblemon_hms.json` the next time it is saved. ### ⚔️ Moved to Cobblemon Action Combat - **Bullet Seed, Explosion, String Shot, Crabhammer, Mean Look, Harden, Burning Bulwark, Substitute, Destiny Bond, Egg Bomb, Protect, Whirlwind, Barrier, Acid Armor, Rock Throw, Boomerang, Powder Snow and Confusion** are no longer HMs. They are real moves in CAC, where fighting belongs. ### ✂️ Removed - **Fly and Glide.** Flying is what Cobblemon's flying mounts are for; Tailwind makes them faster. - **Headbutt, Thief, Present, Miracle Eye, Rest, Defog, Revival Blessing, Charm, Bounce, Obstruct, Ember, Earthquake, Vine Whip and Waterfall.** - **The old HM wheel, its key, per-HM keybinds, hunger costs and blocked hunger**, and the commands that taught, selected or forgot HMs. `/hms list` shows what your Pokémon are lending you. ### 🐛 Fixed - **The game no longer crashes when one of your Pokémon is sent out** (`NoSuchMethodError` on Fabric), nor when you feed it a berry. - **On NeoForge, Lava Plume, the Ride tab's boost layer, the visible resize of Growth and Minimize and the sneak + right-click Field moves on a mount now work.** Their code was only loaded on Fabric. - **Celebrate's fireworks hurt nobody**, even bursting against a ceiling.

**Everything since 2.2.1, in one release.** The mod moves to **Cobblemon 1.8** and four new HMs arrive with it, NeoForge stops crashing before the main menu, and the Trainer Ditto finally tells you something useful. > ⚠️ **This version needs Cobblemon 1.8.0 or newer.** It will not load against 1.7.x, on purpose: a > dependency error you can read beats a crash halfway through a session. ### 🧬 Cobblemon 1.8 - **The mod runs on Cobblemon 1.8.** It was built against 1.7.3, which is what four features had been waiting on. Every one of the mod's calls into Cobblemon was checked against the 1.8 jar one by one, including the reflective lookup that Surf and Tailwind use to speed a mount up: all of them are still there, unchanged. (#84) ### 🌱 New HM — Growth - **Grow a Pokémon for good, or yourself for a while.** Aimed at a Pokémon it takes a permanent step up in size, and the new size belongs to the Pokémon rather than to the body standing in front of you — recall it, send it out, log back in tomorrow, it stays grown. Aimed at anything else it makes **you** twice the size for five minutes, hitbox and all. - ⚠️ **Being big is your problem.** Nothing checks whether there is room. Grow in a one-block gap and you will suffocate exactly as anything else would, and a Minimize that runs out while you are somewhere only a half-size player fits will push you out of it. That is deliberate: the mod treats you the way Minecraft treats anything that stops fitting where it is. (#71) ### 🫧 New HM — Minimize - **Shrink a Pokémon for good, or yourself for a while.** Aimed at a Pokémon it takes a permanent step down in size. Aimed at anything else — a block, or nothing at all — it halves **you**, hitbox included, for five minutes. Growth cancels it and it cancels Growth. (#72) ### 😡 New HM — Outrage - **An XL Pokémon becomes an Alpha.** Point Outrage at one and it roars into the Alpha variant, kept by Cobblemon itself so it sticks through a recall and a relog. It **only answers to XL** — anything smaller is turned down out loud, with the reason. That condition is the whole point: an XL is already an uncommon roll, so Outrage rewards a find instead of manufacturing one, and it never becomes a button that upgrades whatever you happen to be carrying. (#73) ### 🧘 New HM — Calm Mind - **Take the Alpha back off.** Outrage would otherwise be a one-way door: once a Pokémon was an Alpha, nothing put it back, so using it on the wrong XL was permanent. Calm Mind settles an Alpha into the ordinary Pokémon it was, and it sticks the same way. Unlike Outrage it asks nothing about size — it only wants a Pokémon that is actually an Alpha, and says so plainly when it is not. It costs less and recharges quicker, because undoing a mistake should not cost more than making one. (#91) ### 🐛 Fixed - **The mod starts on NeoForge again — two startup crashes, one behind the other.** Every version since 2.2.0 crashed there before the main menu, and nothing you could do in the launcher helped: the NeoForge build was shipping the Fabric build's name table, so every one of the mod's sixteen engine hooks pointed at names that do not exist on that loader. Behind that sat a second one: the renderer for Bullet Seed's projectile asked for its entity type while the game was still starting up, before the mod had handed it over. Both are fixed. Fabric was never affected. (#83) (#86) - **Mean Look actually keeps things off you.** It only ever sent them running — anything already standing on you got its swing in on the way out, and anything that came back hit you normally. A hostile mob or a Pokémon inside Mean Look's radius can no longer land a blow on you at all. Players are still never affected: Mean Look is not a PvP shield. (#79) - **A Substitute decoy breaks when it is hit.** It was taking punishment it never registered, so the only thing that ever ended one was its own timer. Blows count now, and a decoy soaks up about as much as the player it is standing in for before it bursts. (#80) ### ✨ Added - **Destiny Bond can be aimed at another player.** Tie yourself to someone and you take them with you, exactly as with any other creature. They are told it happened, so it is something they can play around rather than a death out of nowhere — and on a server with PvP switched off it simply refuses: that setting means what it says. (#82) ### 👤 The Trainer Ditto - **It tells you where to go next.** Which Pokémon teaches which HM was a wiki-only secret with no way into it from the game — you either read the table or tried sneak + right-click on every species you met with every item you had. Open a Trainer Ditto's stall now and it names **one species** that teaches something you have not learned and that is not on its counter. It gives up the species and nothing else: the move that species knows, and the item it wants for it, are still yours to find. The same trader always names the same one, so there is no reading the table by opening the stall over and over, and a trader whose counter already holds everything you are missing keeps quiet. (#87) ### ⌨️ Commands - **Same-move teachers can be switched on from chat.** The setting that lets any Pokémon which already knows an HM's namesake move teach that HM was reachable only from the Fabric settings screen, so a NeoForge server — or anyone running a dedicated server on either loader — had no way to turn it on at all. It is now `/dittohm config samemove <true|false>`, operator-only like the rest of the config tree. (#90) ### ⚖️ Balance - **A Substitute decoy lasts twenty seconds, not two minutes.** It is a way out of a fight, not a second player standing in the field. Twenty seconds is the same as the ability's own cooldown, so there is never more than one of you at a time. (#80) ### 🔧 Also - **The store page lists what you actually need to install.** It named Cobblemon and nothing else, so anyone who installed on that basis got a mod that would not load: Fabric also needs Fabric Language Kotlin and Cloth Config, and NeoForge needs Kotlin for Forge. All of them are listed now, each linked on both Modrinth and CurseForge, along with Cobblemon: PlayerXP as the optional one that makes paying in experience worth choosing. (#85) - **The README describes the mod that exists.** It still counted 47 abilities and said you learn them from HM Discs that Pokémon hand over — both left over from an older design. There are **75** abilities now (51 active and 24 toggles), the Pokémon teaches its HM to you directly, and a disc is an operator's tool rather than something survival hands out. (#88)

A hotfix. Two of these follow you out of the session they happened in, which is why it is not waiting for the rest of the list. ### 🐛 Fixed - **Confusion no longer comes back every time you take a portal.** Anyone who had been confused once got the whole effect again on every trip to the Nether and on every respawn — inverted controls, inverted camera, from a Confusion that had ended minutes ago. It now counts down properly, and stepping through a portal or waking up at your bed **ends** it instead of starting it over (#75). - **Protect can no longer leave you invulnerable forever.** Dropping out of the world during Protect's one second used to bring you back untouchable, permanently, with nothing in the game able to undo it — including a second Protect, which made it worse. The second is now settled the moment you log back in, and casting Protect while Protect is already up no longer confuses it about whose invulnerability it is holding (#76). - **Defog clears Confusion**, which is exactly the sort of thing a move that "clears away any harmful conditions affecting you" ought to have been clearing all along (#77). - **Camouflage copies the shine.** Disguise yourself as a shiny and you are drawn as a shiny; it used to quietly hand you the ordinary colours (#78). ### 🎯 Improved - **Defog is the answer to Obstruct.** Aim it at a sealed container and the seal lifts — one container, at arm's length, so it counters a seal rather than wiping a base clean (#77).

Everything since 2.1.0, gathered into one release: **eighteen new HMs**, a second way to pay for them, and a wheel rebuilt around the fact that you now know far more HMs than it was drawn for. ### ✨ Eighteen new HMs - **Shadow Sneak** *(toggle)* — no footsteps, no name over your head, and **nothing underfoot notices you**: not pressure plates, not tripwires, not a sculk sensor. - **Powder Snow** *(toggle)* — you carry the cold with you. Anything that comes near frosts over; step out and it thaws. You are exempt from your own. - **Acid Armor** *(toggle)* — a quarter of a suit of armour, and it poisons whoever hits you. - **Lucky Chant** *(toggle)* — luck, for as long as it is on. - **Blizzard** — real snowfall where you call it down, **whatever the biome**, lasting as long as a thunderstorm. The snow then obeys the world's own rules: it stays in a taiga and it is gone from a desert by morning. - **Confusion** — turns the target around inside its own head. A player loses which way is forward; anything else simply loses the thread. - **Obstruct** — seals a container shut, **and against its own hoppers**, which is the half that makes it a seal. - **Earthquake** — the ground goes out from under everything nearby. - **Whirlwind** — knocks back whatever is in front of you. - **X-Scissor** — clears the undergrowth around you. - **Rock Throw** — cobblestone from your inventory, thrown. If it hits nothing, it lands. - **Boomerang** — a bone that comes back, and drops beside whatever it hit. - **Tail Whip** — a brush finished in one motion, on suspicious sand, gravel and rooted dirt. - **Decorate** — carpets the whole floor and hangs a painting where you point. - **Barrier** — a wall that is not there for anything but you. - **Protect** — the hit does not land. - **Celebrate** — fireworks. Enormous cooldown, almost no hunger. - **Present** — one a day, and it might be coal. ### ✨ New - **HMs can be paid for with experience.** Hunger was the only currency and it made the mod a food problem; now a server picks which one it wants, or both in order. - **The wheel became usable at scale.** Discs size themselves to how many HMs you know, so the ring never turns into an unreadable band. A food bar runs down the side, a green light marks what is running and an amber one what is selected, scrolling resizes, and each toggle can be switched off on its own. - **A running toggle can be seen from outside**, so other players know what you are doing. - **Your mount is part of the kit.** Surf, Tailwind, Swift, U-turn and Jump make the thing you are riding better at something, Helping Hand makes its stamina last five times as long, and all of it shows in the Pokémon's own summary. ### ✨ Changed - **You learn an HM from the Pokémon itself.** Discs became an operator's tool rather than the way in. - **Flash is real full brightness** — not Night Vision wearing another name, and brighter than the brightness slider goes. - **Magnet Rise is a toggle, and it is flight**, at a half-step's pace with no dash. - **Rock Climb is steered by W and S**, so glancing down mid-climb no longer drops you. - **Camouflage lasts a quarter of an hour and you can take it off** — and the disguise now walks when you walk and sits the camera where its head is. - **Substitute leaves a decoy that does what you were doing**, takes real damage, and hides everything you are carrying while you get away. - **Rollout is now Agility, Seed Bomb is now Egg Bomb, and Teleport is learned with an Ender Pearl.** ### 🐛 Fixed Thirty-five fixes, most of them found by playing rather than reading. The ones worth naming: the sixty-four HM ceiling is gone, half the HMs were missing their names entirely, Leafage no longer wrecks flowers it did not plant, and Tail Whip, Mean Look, Rototiller and String Shot all now do the thing they said they did.

**Six new HMs, and three of the old ones became something else.** Everything below has been in development since 2.0.1. ### ✨ New - **Seed Bomb** — lob a heavy seed that bursts where it lands. Small on purpose, and the blast is a dial (#52). - **Eruption** — open a pool of lava on the face of the block you aim at, never underfoot. Respects claims and spawn protection, exactly as a bucket does (#56). - **Miracle Eye** — find the nearest legendary monument: what it is, how far, and which way. Not where. Which monuments count is a datapack tag (#11). - **Helping Hand** *(toggle)* — your mount spends half the effort on everything, so it lasts about twice as long (#43). - **Tailwind** *(toggle)* — whatever you fly on moves half again as fast (#42). - **Swift** *(toggle)* — and gets up to speed twice as quickly, on land, in water and in the air. ### 🌊 Three HMs found out what they were for - **Dive** stopped being a way to swim fast and became the ability to **work** underwater: mine at full speed, walk the seabed as if it were dry land, breathe. It takes penalties away rather than handing out a bonus (#44, #45). - **Lava Plume** is now Dive's twin for lava — move through it, walk its floor, see and breathe down there, and sprint into a proper swim. It grants no fire protection of its own: it asks Burning Bulwark for that (#65). - **Surf** now speeds up **the thing you are riding**, not you (#41). ### 👤 The Trainer Ditto is an event the whole server shares One turns up every half hour, once, for everybody, announced in chat when it arrives and when it leaves — neither message says where. Its stall is rolled once and stays put, a disc you bought stays sold, and scarce HMs turn up scarcely. Beat one in battle and every one after it keeps its distance (#62, #55, #61, #58, #59). ### 🎡 The wheel Open it, look, and back out — the bullseye cancels and changes nothing. The ring around it clears everything, selection and toggles alike. Star your favourites and the **HM Case** opens a short wheel holding only those. Whatever is live radiates, and the one HM that fires is marked apart from the ones merely running. Every HM can carry a required experience level, all shipping at zero (#66, #49, #60, #57, #63). ### 🐛 Fixes - **Bullet Seed hits things.** It was firing dropped items, which cannot touch a creature (#53). - **Rock Smash takes the whole vein of netherite and quartz**, and of any ore a mod adds. - **Rest counts the room the way Minecraft does**, instead of demanding a unanimous yes from every connected player (#54). - **Destiny Bond takes an armoured player down with you** (#51). - **Camouflage holds its shape and moves with you**, instead of cycling through creatures. - **Substitute wears your name and walks away with it**, and hides you for two seconds as you go. - **Headbutt** works from standing, only shakes what you actually reached, and shakes giant mushrooms (#68). - Leafage leaves a meadow (#64); Rock Climb works from standing; the HM Case reports the real reason it refused; a disguise holds its shape (#69); sky-clicks reach the server (#46); Headbutt drops the right sapling (#50); a toggle you cannot pay for is refused (#48); and one shake in a hundred knocks an Applin loose (#67).

HMs fire on **left-click** by default — it never opens a chest or a door out from under you — with right-click and either as options. - **A keybind for every HM**, unbound by default, in *Options → Controls*. - Discs, HUD icons and wheel slots all wear the same art: the Scarlet/Violet TM disc for the move's type, with the trigger item set into it. ### 🧬 The Trainer Ditto - A rare wanderer with **perfect IVs** that lays out five random HM Discs, each costing only that HM's own trigger item. Ember lights campfires (#20), Rain Dance actually rains (#22), Burning Bulwark scorches nearby blocks (#28), and right-clicking a chest opens it instead of firing your HM (#17). - **HMs tell you why they didn't fire** — cooldown, hunger, wrong target — instead of doing nothing. - **Toggles no longer double up.** Jump, Rollout, Dive and Harden work through attributes rather than status effects, so the HM entry is the only one you see. Hiding the icon was never enough — the inventory lists every effect regardless. - **The Trainer Ditto's IVs are a setting** — from rolled like any wild Ditto, through one guaranteed best stat, up to flawless. ### 🐛 Fixed - **Rock Climb climbs again.** It only ever clung to walls like a web: it watched the forward movement key, which a server never receives unless you are riding something, so the climb branch could not fire. **Look up to climb, sneak or look down to descend, look level to hold on.** - **Waterfall stops at the surface** instead of launching you out of the water and into the sky. - **Charge powers the block instead of replacing it.** It used to swap in a redstone block and put the original back — so charging a furnace briefly deleted it, and anything with contents was refused. Now the block stays exactly what it is and simply answers as a power source. - **Substitute no longer duplicates your gear.** The decoy copied your armour and held item onto an armour stand, which could then be broken for a second set — backpacks included. It now wears **your skin** and carries nothing. - **The Trainer Ditto is finally the right height to talk to.** Entity ray-tracing is done by the client, and the client never got the disguise hitbox, so its head was not clickable. - **Strength moves containers properly again.** A moved block entity kept the coordinates of where it used to be, which broke it and every later push of the same chest. - **Sweet Scent actually spawns a crowd**, beside you and made of what lives around you. It used the world heightmap to place them, so underground or indoors the horde appeared far off at the surface. - **Stockpile's lava gulp hurts properly** — 3.5 hearts, up from half a heart. ### 🔧 Changed - Kotlin incremental compilation is off. It failed repeatedly while Gradle still reported success, shipping jars missing synthetic classes that crashed the server and looked exactly like code bugs.
