Описание

Cobblemon is an open-source Pokémon mod for Fabric and NeoForge.

The goal of Cobblemon is to be the Pokémon mod for everyone, and to integrate much better into modpacks and Minecraft itself than other Pokémon mods. Our source code is open to encourage not only community contributions, but also forking.

Features (so far!):

  • Capture Pokémon to expand your team, battle wild Pokémon to gain experience, level up to unlock new moves, and evolve your Pokémon. There are over 800 Pokémon to catch!
  • Battles using the Pokémon Showdown! engine for accurate competitive battle mechanics.
  • Some Legends Arceus-style mechanics, such as move relearning, physically running from battle, and evolving your Pokémon when you decide.
  • Toggle free-movement during battles. You can build, mine, or fight mobs while in Pokémon battles!
  • Record the Pokémon you see and catch with a Pokédex. They come with a scanning feature to analyze wild Pokémon!
  • Explore the Minecraft world in style by riding your Pokémon!
  • Engage in tough battles with Alpha Pokémon that can be caught or defeated for rewards!
  • You can trade and battle with your friends in multiplayer.
  • Let your Pokémon roam free wherever you want using pastures!
  • Berries which can be found in the wild, grown on farmland, mulched for bonuses, and cross-bred to mutate new berries.
  • Medicine items can be made by putting crops and berries into a brewing stand. Brewed potions heal more!
  • Ancient structures in the world to discover. Some of these structures have gilded chests, which may contain valuable loot or other surprises!
  • Fossils can be found by excavating suspicious gravel or sand at certain locations, which can then be revived using a resurrection machine.
  • All Pokémon from generations 1 to 9 can be spawned and battled with, but if they don't have a model yet then they will display as a substitute doll.
  • Support for many biome mods, including Terralith, Oh The Biomes You'll Go, and William Wythers' Overhauled Overworld. There's a growing list of others with support too!
  • Full support for custom variations and fakemon using data packs and resource packs. You can find out how to do it using our guide!
  • Cobbled Farms, a tutorial world built by our team to guide you through the features of the mod in an interactive way. It also comes with our official modpacks!
  • Support for both Fabric and NeoForge - though we recommend playing on Fabric because it has better performance!
  • ... and many more to come!

Installation

Fabric:

  • Requires the recommended Fabric Loader version for your version of Minecraft.
  • Requires Fabric API.
  • Put Fabric API and Cobblemon-Fabric in the mods folder.

NeoForge:

  • Requires the recommended NeoForge version for your version of Minecraft.
  • Requires Kotlin for Forge.
  • Put Kotlin for Forge and Cobblemon-NeoForge in the mods folder.

That's it, you're ready to go! If you have trouble installing, get help in our Discord at the link below.

Alternatively, you can download the official Cobblemon modpack on Modrinth or CurseForge! We recommend downloading the modpack with the Modrinth App, but Prism Launcher is also a good alternative launcher that can download modpacks from any of these sites.

Notice: Cobblemon does NOT have an official server. You can find a list of public servers on our website, or in the #server-listings channel in our Discord, and add them to the multiplayer menu. Alternatively, you can buy your own server from hosts such as BisectHosting.

Note: The Cobblemon mod is still in development and is being actively updated. There are many features that are work-in-progress or placeholders until things are finished. There are also some existing features that will be getting more polish as we keep moving. Many more features are planned, including but not limited to things like NPCs, breeding, and raids.

Join our Discord to follow development progress, chat with the team, ask questions, and get sneak peeks into upcoming features!

Capture Pokémon to fill out your Pokédex!

Fight in Pokémon battles powered by Pokémon Showdown!

Ride your Pokémon to travel the land, seas, and skies!

Capture or defeat powerful Alpha Pokémon!

Let your Pokémon roam your world by putting them in pastures!

## [1.8.0 - Make Your Move Update (September 6th, 2026)](#1-8-0) #### I think the red eyes mean they're friendly! ### Additions - Added Alpha Pokémon - Alpha Pokémon are bigger, stronger, and more aggressive than regular Pokémon. - They are also scarier. - They always know a TM move and will adapt to be stronger than your party. - Alphas will always lead herds and spawn in herds. - Added alpha Pokémon attraction bait effect to Hopo Berries. - Added intrinsic scaling to all Pokémon (anywhere from 5% smaller to 5% bigger than normal). Some cases, such as shoulder mounting, will not scale so that the shoulder animations don't look silly. - Added scaling to "baby" Pokémon (10% smaller at level 1 → normally sized at level 10). - Added TMs. - Added TM Machine. TMs are made from elemental type gems, and their recipes are unlocked by having Pokémon that know the move. - Added config options for making TMs infinite-use and instant unlocking of all TM recipes. - Added Type Gem blocks as well as crystal clusters and deepslate core blocks that are used for growing elemental type gems. - Added a new Starter Selection menu that looks way better. - Added a "Move Dex" to the Pokédex to help identify what moves a Pokémon can learn and what Pokémon can get a move. - Added the Habitat Block, a spawner block for servers and adventure maps that controls spawning in an area. - Added 49 new habitat structures. In these habitats you will find rarer Pokémon and sometimes different Pokémon will appear on different days. - Added a toast to notify players of how they can scroll through their party. Did you know you can hold R and scroll instead of using arrow keys? It's true!!! - Added a way to obtain Porygon by inserting an Upgrade or Dubious Disc into a data monitor. - Added Disk Rack for storing disks and being an audio sequencer for Noteblocks. What does that have to do with Pokémon? How about you mind your own business! - Added missing crops to Botany Pots integration. - Added conditional seats for riding. Seats can be gated by Molang such as "is_alpha". - Added 10 new ruin structures. - Added a new shipwreck cove structure called the Magma Shipwreck Cove. - Added 7 new advancements. - Pokémon cries now play when clicking Pokémon in the summary screen. - Held item visibility can now be controlled by the `held_item_visible` command argument. - Added config option to disable Pokémon spawning on a per-world basis. - Added config options to award experience to fainted Pokémon for opponents they helped defeat (`awardExperienceToFaintedPokemon`) and to still award experience for defeated enemies even after battle loss/forfeit (`awardExperienceOnBattleLoss`). -
