Cloud Storage

Turn item storage into a piece of infrastructure you build, upgrade, automate, and protect.

Cloud Storage lets every player assemble a physical computer server from CPUs, RAM, cooling, power supplies, and removable drives. Store exact item counts far beyond vanilla chest capacity, access them remotely across dimensions, and expand your setup from a modest early-game machine to a ten-million-item storage system.

Dragging is disabled

  • Click on items from your inventory or from the cloud storage to customize the quantity before adding to the transfer queue.
  • Shift+Click to transfer everything to the transfer queue.
  • Right click to remove items from the transfer queue.

Build your server

Mine four new ores, manufacture electronic components, and assemble a server suited to your needs. Better CPUs, RAM, cooling, and power supplies improve transfer performance, while three drive tiers provide increasingly large capacities:

  • 1K Hard Drive — 1,000 items
  • 50K Solid-State Drive — 50,000 items
  • 1M Quantum Drive — 1,000,000 items
  • Install up to ten drives for 10,000,000 total items

Items with different names, enchantments, durability, or other data remain separate, and withdrawals always return legal vanilla stacks.

Access it from anywhere

Link a Remote Link to your server and manage storage from the Overworld, Nether, End, or another supported dimension. Transfer time scales with distance and installed hardware, and transfers continue after the screen is closed.

Need to interrupt a transfer? Stop keeps completed progress, while Cancel safely rolls the entire operation back.

Automate your storage

Connect a Storage Uplink and feed it using hoppers or compatible automation. Its protected input buffer uploads items asynchronously using the same capacity, distance, performance, and hardware rules as manual transfers.

Hardware with consequences

An underpowered or poorly cooled CPU accumulates permanent wear. Push it too far and the server can fail catastrophically, corrupting every installed drive and destroying its other components.

Corrupted drives are not necessarily lost. Use the Electronics Workbench and tiered Data Recovery Tools for one irreversible recovery attempt, with better tools recovering a larger percentage of the original contents.

More than a storage menu

  • Player-owned servers designed for both singleplayer and multiplayer
  • Huge exact-count storage without oversized item stacks
  • Physical and remote storage interfaces with search and paging
  • CPU, RAM, cooler, PSU, motherboard, and removable-drive progression
  • Transactional support for filled shulker boxes, bundles, and owned hard drives
  • Live transfer progress, reserved-slot indicators, stopping, and full rollback
  • Four Overworld ores with normal and deepslate variants
  • Electronics manufacturing recipes and a Technician villager profession
  • Additive loot in selected vanilla structures
  • Server-authoritative configuration for balance, ores, loot, recovery, and storage behavior

Requirements

  • **Fabric API

Install Cloud Storage and Fabric API on both the client and dedicated server when playing multiplayer. Ores generate only in newly created Overworld chunks; existing worlds require exploration into new terrain.

Что нового
# Changelog ## 1.0.3 ### Added - Added a **Drive Transfer** mode to the Electronics Workbench alongside the existing Data Recovery mode. - Added selective quantity transfers, a removable transfer queue, source-content pagination, and a prominent **Move All** action for direct drive-to-drive moves. - Added live source/destination drive status and used/total/free capacity information, plus committed-count progress, current item, completion, cancellation, and destination-full states. - Added an independent, persistent Workbench transfer journal with idempotent destination-first batch reconciliation for safe reload, interruption, cancellation, and replay. - Added a detailed website item encyclopedia covering every registered item and block-item, with purpose, behavior, properties, acquisition, production uses, Technician trades, and related entries. - Added a searchable website recipe book generated from the mod's production data, including Minecraft-styled semantic nine-slot crafting tables, real mod and vanilla ingredient textures, and dedicated smelting and blasting layouts. ### Changed - Workbench drive moves run at 64 items per tick without using Cloud Server CPU, RAM, PSU, cooling, transfer lanes, or CPU durability. - The Electronics Workbench now persists a backward-compatible destination-drive slot; existing two-slot Workbench saves remain readable. - Active Workbench transfers lock only their source and destination drive slots. Closing the UI or disconnecting does not stop a loaded Workbench, while unloaded chunks pause it safely. - Updated the Cloud Storage website and documentation for version 1.0.3 and the new Drive Transfer workflow. ### Fixed - Electronics Workbench **Move All** now refuses a source drive with items reserved by another transfer instead of silently moving only the unreserved subset, reporting success, and leaving a seemingly unusable stack behind. - Electronics Workbench drive cards now show the exact reserved-item count, disable every start path while another transfer owns source items, and stop showing an old completed receipt after either drive is removed. - Reworked both Electronics Workbench tabs with aligned drive/tool cards, centered recovery controls, a compact two-row item browser and queue, clearer paging, and a dedicated transfer notice line so text no longer overlaps item icons. - Recovery-required transfers now remain visible in every Active Transfer screen with a working Stop button; legacy partially delivered withdrawals are migrated to Stop-only instead of being mislabeled as terminal failures. - Storage Uplink capacity now syncs as lossless 16-bit words instead of overflowing vanilla menu-data fields (for example, 54,000 displaying as 4,294,955,760), and its idle GUI now shows the linked server's calculated transfer speed instead of "Instant." - Storage Uplinks can now be mined by their owner, including while automation has an item transaction in flight. Ownership is validated only by the authoritative server; removal safely reconciles transactions and returns buffered items. - Workbench Drive Transfer safely preserves already committed items and leaves all pending items on the source when cancelled, interrupted, or stopped by a full destination. ### Compatibility - Minecraft Java Edition 26.2, Java 25+, Fabric Loader 0.19.3+, and Fabric API 0.156.0+26.2. - Existing server registry schema 1, drive schema 3, and transfer journal schemas 1-4 remain readable. Workbench transfer journal schema 1 is additive and independent.

Что нового
# Changelog ## 1.0.2 ### Added - Added same-direction queue appends: new uploads or downloads can expand an already active transfer while keeping one restart-safe transaction, ETA, reservation set, Stop operation, and Cancel rollback. - Added creative-style storage categories for All Items, Building Blocks, Natural Blocks, Ores & Materials, Food & Drinks, Tools & Utilities, Combat, Mob Drops, Cloud Technology, and Miscellaneous. The All Items view is grouped by category, and search filters within the selected category. - Added a visible, draggable scrollbar to the 18-column, five-row virtual storage grid while retaining mouse-wheel scrolling and bounded server paging. ### Changed - Unplaced and re-mined Storage Uplinks now explicitly stack to 64; ownership and server-link identity continue to exist only while the block is placed. - Storage categories now follow Minecraft's creative-tab membership instead of item-name fragments, with exact ore/material tags and deliberate food and mob-drop overrides. - Cloud-to-local transfers now fill the 27-slot main inventory before using hotbar slots, keeping the hotbar free whenever capacity allows. - While the storage search box is focused, ordinary keybind letters are consumed as text instead of closing the UI or opening another mod's screen. Escape still closes the screen, and Shift remains available for transfer shortcuts. - Advanced the transfer journal to schema 4 for persisted append recovery and irreversible-withdrawal safety metadata; transfer journal schemas 1–3 remain readable. - Storage Uplink blocks can now be stacked in the local player inventory as well. ### Fixed - Storage Uplink capacity now syncs as lossless 16-bit words instead of overflowing vanilla menu-data fields (for example, 54,000 displaying as 4,294,955,760), and its idle GUI now shows the linked server's calculated transfer speed instead of "Instant." - Storage Uplinks can now be mined by their owner, including while automation has an item transaction in flight. Ownership is validated only by the authoritative server instead of an ownerless client-side block-entity copy cancelling every mining attempt; removal safely reconciles transactions and returns buffered items. - Fully consumed upload stacks no longer finish as a false failed transfer with permanently reserved inventory slots; committed recovery finalization is idempotent and releases all resolved slots. - Moving, spending, or trading already-delivered download items can no longer strand a transfer or enable rollback duplication. The transfer pauses immediately, permanently disables Cancel, and remains safely available through Stop, which commits exactly the delivered count and releases the untransferred reservation. - Final withdrawal commit no longer attempts to reclaim items already delivered to the player, preventing inventory changes during other container interactions from producing a false failure. - Storage category/search responses use isolated client page caches, so an out-of-order page cannot populate the wrong category. - Fully consumed inventory stacks now finalize as empty after a successful upload instead of falsely entering recovery and leaving their slots reserved. - Affected committed uploads retry their idempotent finalization once after loading, and genuinely unresolved recovery jobs remain visible with red reserved-slot borders.
