### <b> Changelogs * New features * Introduced a new scripting engine, utilizing Lua (more resources in [this repository](https://github.com/projectAccounth/cloud_tweaks_docs)), and can be supplied through resource packs. Engine is not finalized, everything is subject to change, and current scripts might not work in later versions. * Introduced a new cloud type definition system together with the scripting engine, supporting custom supplied configurations. * Added support for custom dimensions * However, this has one quirk of just blindly creating for every detected dimensions, but you can remove all non-Vanilla dimensions with the new features. * Old config should be compatible with this, however issues may still occur during the migration. You can always use the backups at `minecraft_dir/config/cloud_tweaks/backups` to restore your old config (copy-and-paste, remove the old file and rename the backup to `cloud-configs.json`). Anyways don't forget to clean that up if that gets too large. * Added threaded cloud building (non-blocking) and is now the default. * Previously, whenever cloud rebuilds, it'll just rebuild straight on the render thread which gives a massive lag spike on types like `POPULATED_ND` or `BEVELED`. * Other changes * UI and UX * Added a "Rebuild Clouds" button to trigger a rebuild for any reason * Added a "Refresh Config" button, behavior is of the following: * re-create some of the deleted custom config entries that is still available in memory. * reloads all custom types (provided through files at `assets/cloud_tweaks/api/types`) * Improved consistency and fluency during screen switching and preset loading * Changed several numeric config entries from sliders into fields with revised ranges * Removed config entries that is functionally useless: * `Enabled` in layer settings * `Max Shading` in lighting settings: it just limits the brightness, which can be achieved with other combinations of ambient lighting with face lightings * `Uses Custom Alpha`: it's always been custom for a while * The whole `Bevel` section: now under the `BEVELED` type in `Type-specific config` * and probably more that I forgot... * Utilities * Added a "Recompile custom scripts" button, its sole purpose is to recompile all scripts found under `assets/cloud_tweaks/api/generators/base` and `assets/cloud_tweaks/api/generators/outline` * Presets * Default light sources preset now use Vanilla-like lighting instead of the old 2-light setup. * Known quirks * The mod is no longer "lightweight" as the description states with this update that pulled a ton of dependencies into it. * Bug fixes * Fixed off-heap memory leak caused by stray buffers caused by dependency ([#48](https://github.com/projectAccounth/better_clouds/issues/48)) * With the addition of custom dimensions configuration, this is provisionally resolved ([#50](https://github.com/projectAccounth/better_clouds/issues/50)) As always, thank you guys for your support!
