Описание
An original shader pack for Iris with a soft, colourful, cinematic look: warm sunsets, deep starry nights, a spectacular End sky and light that behaves — it is recoloured by stained glass and reflected by polished blocks.
Highlights
Light & shadows
- Physically based lighting (GGX), soft coloured shadows (stained glass and water tint sunlight)
- Screen-space ambient occlusion, volumetric light shafts, subsurface scattering on leaves, plants, ice and mobs
- Dynamic light in your hands, coloured by the item
- Experimental: coloured block light — lamp light that passes through stained glass takes the glass colour (voxel light, off by default)
Sky
- Volumetric clouds with shadows on the ground, thin cirrus clouds that catch the sunset
- Sun and moon with phases and a 22° moon halo, stars, Milky Way, shooting stars, northern lights
- The End: nebulae, galaxy band, drifting light curtains and a black hole with an accretion disk
Water & weather
- 3D waves, refraction, caustics, shore foam, biome-aware tint, reflections
- Rain puddles that dry out, wet surfaces, lava glow with heat distortion
Materials
- Works without a resource pack (generated normals and materials) and supports LabPBR / OldPBR
- Parallax occlusion mapping with self-shadowing, glowing ores, glossy armour (not netherite or leather)
- Wind on grass, flowers, leaves, vines, chains, lanterns, water plants and Nether plants
Camera
-
TAA, bloom, lens flare, depth of field, motion blur, chromatic aberration, ACES / filmic tonemapping, colour grading
-
Needs Iris (Sodium recommended). Iris renders with OpenGL; Vulkan is not supported. OptiFine has not been tested.
-
Two downloads: Universal (recommended) and Legacy (no compute shaders / GL 4.3 features — try it on old Iris, macOS or old drivers).
-
Coloured block light needs an Iris with compute shaders and custom images (1.6+) and OpenGL 4.3. Everywhere else the pack silently keeps vanilla block light.
-
Menus: English, Русский, Українська.
Settings
Pick a profile (Low / Medium / High / Ultra) in the shader options, then tweak anything: shadow resolution, clouds, SSAO, reflections, POM, post-processing and more.
Notes
- Blocks added after 1.21 work, but do not get special waving or glow until they are added to the block list. Tell me which ones are missing.
- Original GLSL code. The feature set is inspired by Complementary Shaders; no code from it was used.
