- Updated [max_format](https://minecraft.wiki/w/Pack.mcmeta) from **75** to **84** - Now compatible with **[Minecraft 26.1](https://www.minecraft.net/article/minecraft-java-edition-26-1)**

- Rewritten [pack.mcmeta](https://minecraft.wiki/w/Pack.mcmeta) file to reflect the latest format changes - Now compatible with **[Minecraft 1.21.9](https://www.minecraft.net/article/minecraft-java-edition-1-21-9)** - Added shorter copper sword textures

- Downgraded [pack format](https://minecraft.wiki/w/Pack_format) from **64** to **1** - Now compatible with **Minecraft 1.8.9** - Drastically reduced file size - Changed the folder structure for 1.8.9 compatibility - Retextured all sword textures to match their original 1.8.9 appearance - Fixed an issue where the **Wooden** and **Golden sword textures** were not displaying correctly in-game This is a **ALPHA** Release - expect bugs or other issues. ## This will likely be the **last update** to the **1.8.9 backport** for the foreseeable future. As originally planned, I want to focus my time and resources on maintaining and improving support for **modern Minecraft versions**. Interest in the backport seems low, so further updates are currently not planned.

- Updated [pack format](https://minecraft.wiki/w/Pack_format) from **63** to **64** - Now compatible with **[Minecraft 1.21.7](https://www.minecraft.net/article/minecraft-java-edition-1-21-7)**

- Updated [pack format](https://minecraft.wiki/w/Pack_format) from **55** to **63** - Now compatible with **[Minecraft 1.21.6](https://www.minecraft.net/article/minecraft-java-edition-1-21-6)** - Slightly reduced file size - Fixed an issue where the resource pack was not showing properly in **newer Minecraft versions**. (sorry for that) - The issue was fixed by **rewriting** the [pack.mcmeta](https://minecraft.wiki/w/Pack.mcmeta) file ### v2.0.0 ``` { "pack": { "description": "§a• Version 2.0.0 §d• by chrissi", "pack_format": 55, "supported_formats": { "min_inclusive": 18, "max_inclusive": 55 } } } ``` ### v2.1.0 ``` { "pack": { "pack_format": 26, "supported_formats": [18, 63], "description": "§a• Version 2.1.0\n§d• by chrissi" } } ```

- I added the JSON object "supported_formats" to the [pack.mcmeta](https://minecraft.wiki/w/Pack.mcmeta) file. It describes a range for [pack formats](https://minecraft.wiki/w/Pack_format) that this pack supports. Here's how it looks in the pack.mcmeta file: ``` { "min_inclusive": 18, "max_inclusive": 55 } ``` With this setting, the pack will be compatible with all Minecraft versions that use pack formats between 18 and 55. As a result, you'll see broader version support starting with this release.
