Описание

ChaosSwap

ChaosSwap is a Fabric mod that randomly swaps your position with a nearby mob every 40–60 seconds, creating unpredictable and chaotic gameplay. You can be mining one moment and suddenly find yourself in a completely different situation.

Features

  • Random player and mob position swapping

  • Configurable interval (default 40–60 seconds)

  • 100 block swap radius

  • Optional effects such as warning message, blindness, and sounds

  • Smart Teleporting

The mod includes logic to improve teleport safety and consistency:

  • If the player is on the surface, swaps will prioritize surface mobs

  • If the player is underground, swaps will prioritize cave mobs

  • Repeated cave swaps will eventually send the player back to the surface

  • Configuration

The mod is fully customizable through the config folder.

You can edit the file:

config/chaos_swap.json

From there, you can enable or disable features like:

  • Warning message
  • Blindness effect
  • Sounds
  • Swap timing and radius

Disabling all effects will result in instant teleportation.

Что нового
**v1.0.0** – Initial release of ChaosSwap. Players randomly swap positions with nearby mobs every 40–60 seconds within a 100-block radius. Added a fully customizable config system with optional features like warning message, blindness effect, creeper primed sound, and explosion sound for cinematic or instant chaos. Improved teleport logic: if the player is on the surface, swaps will prioritize surface mobs; if the player is underground/in caves, swaps will prioritize cave mobs, and repeated cave swaps will eventually send the player back to the surface to prevent getting stuck. Works in singleplayer and multiplayer, server-side (optional on client).
