Biomes of Overworld expands Minecraft's world generation with vibrant new biomes, unique mobs, powerful ores, hidden structures, and endgame challenges to discover.
This mod is actively developed for NeoForge and Fabric and Forge, receiving frequent updates to keep your exploration fresh. Explore new lands, gather rare resources, craft powerful equipment, and take on brand-new challenges across the Overworld!

✨ New Biome
🦴 Fossil Graveyard
A dark, ancient cavern biome buried deep in the Overworld. The walls and floors are made entirely of Ash — a custom block with a dark, grainy texture and a faint smoky particle effect when broken.
Features:
Ash (custom block) — replaces stone as the primary cave material
Fossils generate embedded in the cave walls at an angle, half-buried in ash
Low ambient light, drifting ash particles, and a deep rumbling mood sound

🔥 Scorching Caves → Scorching Carverns
The biome ID and all references have been updated. If you had any data packs or configs referencing the old ID, update them to biomes_of_overworld:scorching_carverns.

### 🌋 Scorching Caves
Deep beneath the Overworld lies a cave system unlike any other. **Scorching Caves** are extremely hot underground caverns covered in **magma blocks**, with vast pools of **lava** lurking below.
These caves are dangerous to explore, but their fiery atmosphere makes them one of the most unique underground environments in the Overworld.

* 🔥 Large lava-filled areas beneath the caves
