# Auto Disconnect Auto Disconnect is a lightweight client-side Fabric mod that gives you a fast, reliable way to leave your current Minecraft world or server. Press one configurable key to disconnect immediately instead of opening the pause menu and selecting the usual save-and-quit option. ## Features - A dedicated **Save and Quit** keybind. - The default keybind is **F8**. - The key can be changed in **Options → Controls → Key Binds**. - Works in singleplayer worlds and multiplayer servers. - Uses Minecraft's normal disconnect flow so the integrated server or remote server can handle saving and shutdown normally. - Returns you to the title screen after disconnecting. - Client-side only; no server installation is required. - No configuration files, commands, permissions, or gameplay changes. ## Usage 1. Install Auto Disconnect in the `mods` folder alongside Fabric Loader and Fabric API. 2. Enter a singleplayer world or multiplayer server. 3. Press **F8**, or your selected keybind, to disconnect. If F8 conflicts with another mod or your keyboard layout, change the key under **Options → Controls → Key Binds**. The keybind is listed in the **Auto Disconnect** category. ## Compatibility Auto Disconnect is designed for **Minecraft 1.21.11** on **Fabric**. It is a client-side utility and does not need to be installed on servers. ## Important behavior Auto Disconnect requests a normal Minecraft disconnection rather than force-closing the game. This preserves Minecraft's standard world and connection lifecycle, but it does not bypass server-side save timing or guarantee that a remote server has saved data at the exact moment the key is pressed.
