# Auroral 1.1.2 ## Added - **Shimmerweave Skates now protect you from falling into lava.** While you are falling or flying downward, any lava directly beneath you turns into obsidian before you reach it. - A new `skates_lava_fall_scan_depth` config controls how far below you the skates look (default 16 blocks, 0 disables). (breakinblocks/auroral#17) - **Shimmer Spear.** A long-reach piercing weapon crafted from a Shimmersteel Ingot and two sticks. Left-click stabs hit every enemy along the line, only at full attack charge. Hold right-click to charge a committed strike that lunges forward and hits harder the longer it is held. Every hit applies Frostbite; during an aurora it deals bonus damage and a stronger, longer Frostbite. - **Shimmersteel Nautilus Armor.** Crafted from Shimmersteel Ingots around a Nautilus Shell. Right-click a tamed Auroral Nautilus to equip it, shear the nautilus to take it off. It drops when the nautilus dies. - **Snow-logged Aurora Blooms.** Blooms placed on a snow layer or in powder snow, by you or by the aurora, now replace the snow at the same level and remember it. When the bloom is broken or wilts the snow comes back. Snow-logged blooms keep a visible snow base and give off faint snowflakes so they can be found under fresh snow. - Aurora Blooms can grow on Ice, Packed Ice and Blue Ice. Silk touching a fully grown bloom now gives the decorative variant. The decorative bloom can be placed in flower pots. - Shimmerweave Goggles now show a translucent visor over the eyes. - Lit Hearthwood Logs ignite phantoms that enter their area and phantoms will not target players standing in it. - Tamed Auroral Nautili within 32 blocks follow you through portals and teleports. Tamed nautili orbit closer, wild ones orbit a player holding an Aurora Shard, and at most two spawn within 64 blocks of any player. - Glacial Basins take items from pipes and hoppers into an input slot, infuse them automatically, and push results out the bottom. Sneak and right-click with an empty hand to empty the output slot. - Shimmersteel Ingots work as an armor trim material. Shimmersteel tools and Shimmerweave armor accept the vanilla enchantments for their type. - Shimmer Soil accepts vanilla crop seeds. - Shimmersteel Bow damage scales with draw strength, respects Power and Infinity, and the Star-Shot counts as an arrow. - Shimmersteel Sword executes play a particle burst and chime and count the weapon that dealt the hit. ## Changed - Added in-game configuration access for independent aurora sky and sound controls.
