Описание

Aurelium

Experimental Web Features The web dashboard is in active development. Expect potential bugs or instability if you enable web.enabled. The core in-game economy, GUI markets, and auction house are stable.

A standalone economy plugin for Minecraft Paper.

Compatibility: Paper, Purpur, Pufferfish, Leaves

Features

Economy

  • Multi-Currency - Define multiple currencies (e.g., Aurels, Dollars, Euros) with unique symbols and starting balances
  • Per-Item Currency - Assign specific currencies to individual market items
  • Vault Support - Fully compatible with Vault-dependent plugins (ShopGUI+, Essentials, etc.)
  • Database - SQLite or MySQL storage with automatic migration
  • Offline Earnings - Get paid for auction sales even when offline

Server Market

A server-owned shop with dynamic pricing and three interface modes:

  • Classic - Traditional chest-based inventory GUI
  • Modern - Styled chest GUI with MiniMessage gradient titles, glass-pane borders, formatted lore
  • Web - Browser dashboard (see the Web Dashboard section below)

Pricing Mechanics:

  • Prices automatically rise on buys (Demand) and fall on sells (Supply)
  • Anti-Exploit: Sell price can never exceed Buy price
  • Price Floor: Can't drop below 20% of base (configurable)
  • Price Ceiling: Can't rise above 500% of base (configurable)
  • Natural Recovery: Prices passively drift toward base value every 10 minutes

Quality of Life:

  • Live UI updates every 1 second while a menu is open
  • Page indicator books showing current page (e.g., "Page 1 of 5")

  • Request any item (including 120+ enchanted books and ingots) at your price
  • Other players browse and fulfill orders from their inventory
  • Escrow System: money held safely, refunded on cancel
  • Offline Collections: fulfilled items go to /ah collect bin; notified on login
  • Buyer Notifications: real-time when filled, or on next login

Custom Item Detection

Automatically discovers custom items from popular third-party plugins:

  • Auto-Scan on Startup - runs once, detects all custom items
  • Supported Plugins (zero hard dependencies, all via reflection):
    • ItemsAdder, Oraxen, MMOItems, MythicMobs, ExecutableItems, Nexo, SX-Item

Setup

  1. Download the jar that matches your server's Minecraft version from Modrinth
    • Files ending in 1.21.x are for Minecraft 1.21 through 1.21.11, and need Java 21
    • Files ending in 26.1.x are for Minecraft 26.1, 26.1.1 and 26.1.2, and need Java 25
    • Files ending in 26.2.x are for Minecraft 26.2, and need Java 25
  2. Place it in your server's plugins/ folder
  3. Restart the server
    • If Vault is not detected, Aurelium automatically extracts and installs it on first run

Configuration

Database

database:
type: sqlite # sqlite or mysql
file: "database.db" # SQLite only, relative to the plugin folder
  mysql: # MySQL only
    host: "localhost"
    port: 3306
    database: "aurelium"
    username: "root"
    password: "password"
    ssl-mode: "PREFERRED" # DISABLED | PREFERRED | REQUIRED | VERIFY_CA | VERIFY_IDENTITY

ssl-mode defaults to PREFERRED: the connection is encrypted whenever the server offers TLS, without needing a truststore. Use VERIFY_CA or VERIFY_IDENTITY if the database is reached over an untrusted network, since those also validate the server certificate.

Economy

economy:
  default-currency: "Aurels"
  currencies:
    Aurels:
      symbol: "₳"
      starting-balance: 100.0
  max-balance: -1 # -1 = unlimited
  min-pay-amount: 0.01

Market Items

Control every price directly:

Web Dashboard

web:
  enabled: true
mode: cloud # "local" = webserver inside the plugin (needs an open port)
                         # "cloud" = syncs to an external server (works on all hosts)
local: # only used when mode is "local"
host: "localhost" # keeps the dashboard on this machine. "0.0.0.0" exposes it,
                         # and the session link in its URL, on every network interface
    port: 8585
server-id: "local" # how this server is addressed in dashboard URLs
    session-timeout-minutes: 60
    snapshot-interval-seconds: 30
    price-history-interval-minutes: 10
cloud: # only used when mode is "cloud"
    url: "https://aurelium.alwaysdata.net"
    sync-interval: 30

Your server's server-id and api-key under web.cloud are generated automatically on first run and saved to config. Don't share them: the key is what authorizes your server to the dashboard.

In local mode the dashboard runs inside the plugin, so there is nothing else to host. In cloud mode everything syncs to the hosted dashboard, so it works even on hosts where you cannot open a port. Players open the dashboard with /web, which generates a time-limited link; a session can also be revoked at any time.

Web purchases are queued before they are charged, and whether that queue survives a restart is configurable:

web-queue:
type: memory # memory (lost on restart) or sqlite (kept on disk)
  file: "web-queue.db"

Network Syncing (MySQL Required)

Aurelium supports cross-server synchronization for BungeeCord and Velocity networks.

MySQL is required for synchronization. SQLite does not support cross-server data sharing. Point all backend servers to the same MySQL database:

  • Global Balances - player balances refreshed on join across the network
  • Global Auction House - active auctions and collection bin shared across all linked servers
  • Per-Server Markets - dynamic prices stored in each server's local config.yml, allowing different economies per server while players keep the same wallet

Language

A messages.yml file is generated on startup.

  • Translate: Change any message to your language
  • Color Codes: Use MiniMessage formatting (e.g., <green>) or legacy & codes

FAQ

"Unknown Command" - If /market or /eco says "Unknown command", the plugin failed to load.

  • Check server console/logs for errors
  • Ensure you have Aurelium.jar in plugins/
  • Ensure you are running Paper (or compatible forks: Purpur, Pufferfish, Leaves)

"No Permission" - You need OP (/op <player>) or the aureleconomy.admin permission node. Standard player commands are enabled for everyone by default.

Still not working? - Open an issue on GitHub with your server version, error logs, and steps to reproduce.

*Aurelium builds each market item at the moment you buy or sell it, so the item you end up with always matches the item the dashboard showed you. This release finishes that for the two kinds of item that share one base item between them: mob spawners and enchanted books. The developer patch notes cover the same change file by file and are at [patchnotes.md](https://github.com/APPLEPIE6969/Aurelium/blob/v1.5.4.1/patchnotes.md).* ### What Was Wrong - **Buying a mob spawner from the dashboard gave you an empty spawner** - every mob spawner is the same basic item, with the specific mob stored inside it. When you bought through the dashboard that detail was dropped, so you paid the iron golem spawner price and received a spawner with nothing in it. Enchanted books had the same problem: you paid the price of the spell you picked and received a book with no spell on it. - **Selling a spawner or an enchanted book paid out the most expensive price** - this was the more serious half. When you sold through the dashboard, the check only confirmed you were holding something of the same basic kind, so one empty spawner could be sold over and over as the most valuable spawner in the game, and one empty book could be sold as the most valuable spell. **If you sold any mob spawner or enchanted book through the dashboard, it is worth checking your balance.** ### What Changed - Items bought through the dashboard are now built exactly the way they are when you trade through the in-game shop, so a mob spawner arrives with its mob in it and an enchanted book arrives with its spell on it. - Selling now only takes the exact item you picked. A plain spawner can no longer be sold as an iron golem spawner, and a plain book can no longer be sold as a named spell. - **Buying and selling through the dashboard now check the money actually moved.** Previously the server would hand over the item without confirming the payment had gone through, and would take your items without confirming it could pay you. If a payment fails you now get a clear message and nothing changes hands. - **If your server's database is not on the same machine, money commands may feel slightly slower.** Buying, selling, paying and any other money operation now waits for the database to confirm before reporting back, instead of reporting immediately and quietly sorting it out afterwards. That wait is what makes it possible to tell you the truth about whether the money moved. If you notice lag spikes on money operations and your database is remote, this is why. - Everything else, including all ordinary blocks, ores, mob drops and crops, behaves exactly as before. ### What You Need To Do Nothing. This replaces your current download, your prices are unchanged, and no configuration needs editing. Take the download that matches your Minecraft version, the same as always.

## v1.5.4 - Version Checker & Cloud Dashboard Hardening *Want the detail behind these changes? The developer patch notes cover the same updates file by file, including why each one was needed. See them at [patchnotes.md](https://github.com/APPLEPIE6969/Aurelium/blob/v1.5.4/patchnotes.md).* ### What's New - **Aurelium tells you when a newer version is out** - when your server starts, it checks Modrinth to see whether there is a newer version for your Minecraft version. If there is, your console tells you how many versions behind you are and where to get the update. It does this quietly in the background, so it never slows your startup. - **Your dashboard reconnects by itself if you change its key** - the dashboard, which is the web page players open from the game, gives your server a secret code so it knows which server is yours, and that code is saved in your config file. If you ever need to swap it for a new one, Aurelium now recognises the server and reconnects on its own, so you no longer have to sign in and set the dashboard up again by hand. - **Dashboard admin commands are now locked** - the commands that manage servers now only work if you set a password first. You set it as `REGISTRATION_SECRET` in your host's environment settings, the same place you would put any other secret. If you never set one, the dashboard turns those commands away instead of leaving them open. **If you use admin commands on the dashboard, set this before you upgrade.** - **Tested on the latest stable Paper** - Paper has released newer stable versions for 26.2 and 26.1.2. Aurelium is now tested on those instead of the earlier pre-release versions. Each Minecraft version still has its own download, so you pick the one matching your server. - **The dashboard has a new home** - the hosted dashboard now runs at `https://aurelium.alwaysdata.net`. Your config updates itself the first time the server starts after upgrading, and the console confirms it happened. There is nothing to change by hand. - **The local dashboard no longer opens itself to the internet** - if you set `mode: local`, the website used to answer any computer that could reach your server, even when your config said to keep it local. On a publicly reachable host that meant anyone who found the right address could see it, and the link players use travelled unencrypted. It now only answers the computers your config allows. **If you open your local dashboard from a different machine, add `host: "0.0.0.0"` under `web.local` to keep doing that** - the plugin warns you in the console when you use a setting like this. - **You can end a player's dashboard link straight away** - if you want to cut a player off, their link stops working the moment you use the command, rather than staying usable until it times out on its own. Links already stopped working on their own when a player left the server. ### Bug Fixes - **Spawners can be bought again** - every spawner was showing a price of 0, which meant they could not be bought at all. They appeared worthless on the dashboard too, and their price history charts came out as a flat line, which is why those charts looked empty. They now show and charge their real price. **You do not need to change your config**, the prices you already set are used as they are. - **Your items show up on the dashboard again** - the dashboard was showing no items at all for many players. Two separate problems were causing it. One quietly threw away anything bigger than two megabytes, and your item list is normally bigger than that, so it was dropped every time. The other was worse: a routine background check was overwriting your real data with an empty update every thirty seconds. Both are fixed, and the dashboard now shows your actual items. - **Purchases finish straight away** - buying something from the dashboard always waited about twenty seconds and then told you it had timed out, even when the purchase had actually gone through and the items were delivered. The dashboard was asking the server a question the server had no way to answer. It can answer now, so purchases confirm as soon as they land and you are no longer left wondering whether they worked. - **The price history chart shows you values** - move your mouse across the chart and a line follows it, with a dot marking the spot and the price and time shown for that point. - **The price history chart fits on the screen** - the window was too narrow to read the chart properly. It now opens much wider, and fades closed like the other popups instead of vanishing. - **The currency badge is gone from market cards** - it repeated information already shown on the card and made the prices harder to line up. - **A security hole in dashboard links is closed** - the parts of the website that open and refresh a player's link, and the part that confirms a purchase, could be reached without the right key. Anyone who knew or guessed your server's details could have opened a link for themselves and seen player balances, or confirmed purchases. All of it now requires your server's own key and turns away anything else. - **Dashboard buttons work again** - the security improvements in this release initially stopped the dashboard's buttons, confirmation boxes and popups from responding. They all work again, and nothing about how the page looks has changed. - **Google Analytics removed** - it was loading tracking code from another company onto a page that shows player balances, and it had never been set up to actually record anything. - **Missing item icons no longer flood your console** - when an item picture could not be found, the plugin kept retrying and filled the console with repeated warnings. It now tries the older versions of that item once each, then gives up. - **The price history chart can be opened again** - the little trend line next to each item did nothing when clicked, so the chart could not be reached from the dashboard at all. Click it, or tab to it and press Enter, and you get the price history for that item. - **The price history chart is readable now** - the chart was being drawn at half the size it was displayed at, which shrank the date labels down to about 5 pixels tall and piled them on top of each other. It now draws at full size, so the dates are legible on any screen. The first and last dates are labelled, and the lowest price no longer sits on top of them. - **MySQL is properly tested now** - we now check that a MySQL database really does save and hand back your balances, prices and auctions, instead of assuming it worked. If you use MySQL, that is confirmed on every release. ### Security - The dashboard is now much harder to attack. The connection is always encrypted, another website cannot embed your dashboard on their own pages, and your browser is told not to hang on to player details after you close the page. None of this needs maintaining by hand, because none of it depends on code written straight into the page. - The local dashboard gets the same protections. It keeps working over plain local connections, since that never leaves your machine. - Dashboard links from players who have not joined your server in a few days are now cleared automatically instead of being kept forever, so the dashboard stays fast as more players use it.

## v1.5.3 - Paper 26.2 Support & Web Dashboard Overhaul ### What's New - **Paper 26.2 support** — works with the latest Paper alpha builds - **Web dashboard is now persistent** — your market data, auctions, and player sessions survive server restarts (powered by Astra DB) - **All sensitive data is encrypted** — API keys, player UUIDs, balances, and session tokens are encrypted with AES-256 before being stored in the database. Even if someone gets access to the database, they can't read your players' data - **Auction quantity selector (web)** — when buying a BIN auction with stacked items (like 64x Diamonds), you can now choose how many you want instead of being forced to buy the whole stack - **Auction category sidebar (web)** — the auction page now has the same sidebar as the market, with filters for All Listings, BIN Listings, and BID Listings - **Per-item pricing (web)** — auctions and market items now show the price per item, not just the total ### Bug Fixes - **Sessions survive restarts** — player web sessions no longer break after the server restarts - **No more silent data loss** — if the database write fails, you get an error instead of the server pretending everything worked fine - **Better input validation (web)** — the website now properly rejects invalid amounts and IDs instead of silently accepting them - **Network errors handled (web)** — temporary database connection issues no longer crash the website - **Auction empty states (web)** — filtering by category now shows "No auctions in this category" instead of showing all auctions - **Smooth modal animations (web)** — closing bid/purchase popups now animates smoothly instead of vanishing instantly - **Quantity button states (web)** — the + button grays out when you hit the max, the - button grays out at 1 - **Correct BIN label (web)** — buy-now listings show "Price (per item)" instead of "Your Bid (per item)" - **Better item icons (web)** — fallback chain tries multiple Minecraft versions before showing a generic box icon

### Fixes - **Market Custom Item Display Names**: Discovered custom items now show their configured display name in the market (alerts, GUI, price lookups) instead of falling back to raw material name. Previously, `MarketManager.addCustomMarketItem()` created `MarketEntry` with only material and price, discarding the display name — auction messages already worked correctly, but market-side name resolution did not.
