## v1.6 - 2026-10-11 - City chests hold as much as plain Minecraft again: more coal, amethyst, bottles o' enchanting, echo shards, disc fragments and potions, and the plain books are back. The saddles and sculk veins that took up space are gone - Barrels are now small supply caches: food, candles, soul torches, arrows, coal and now and then something rarer. Some are empty, the way an abandoned city should be. No more wool, carpet and cobwebs - The city centre, the biggest part of the city, now has a few barrels worth finding in every section, with books, echo shards, amethyst, iron, gold and the odd enchanted book. The freezer has two as well - Pots now and then hold bones, candles, soul torches or even an echo shard - Chests, barrels and pots that nobody has opened yet get the new loot straight away. The caches in the city centre and the freezer only appear in cities that generate after updating

The cities are much bigger than normal ones, so the world was getting crowded with them - Only new, unexplored parts of the world are affected. Ones that already generated stay where they are - City chests now also hold the things plain Minecraft puts in them, such as compasses, sculk catalysts, leads, the 13 and Cat music discs, candles and soul torches. Each one turns up about as often as in plain Minecraft, on top of the pack's own loot - Four chests that were always empty now have loot: one in the freezer, one in the watchtower and two in the houses
