The world of Alchemica is now more perilous—and more understandable. ⚔️ Combat & Hazards Stonecutter Damage: Stepping on a working Stonecutter now deals significant damage. Crouch to work safely, or push your enemies into the blade. Splash Milk: A throwable cleansing agent. Crafting: Combine a Milk Bucket + Gunpowder in any grid. Usage: Throws like a potion. Clears all status effects (good and bad) from any entity in the splash zone. Perfect for saving friends from poison or stripping buffs from enemies. 🧪 Material Science Pulverizing: You can now process materials into fine dust using a Stonecutter. Copper Ingot → Copper Dust Iron Ingot → Iron Dust Diamond → Diamond Dust These dusts currently serve as a foundation for future alchemy recipes. 📖 The Guide (Advancements) The Preservation questline has been completely rebuilt to function as an in-game tutorial. New Flow: Entropy → Distillation → The Vat → Timeless → Moonshine. Better Triggers: Advancements now trigger reliably when interacting with cauldrons or picking up items. Clarity: Descriptions now explicitly teach you how to perform rituals (e.g., "Drop raw food directly into the Vinegar Cauldron").

Alchemica v1.1-SNAPSHOT - The "Grimoire" Update The knowledge has been documented. The secrets are no longer safe. This snapshot focuses on information and accessibility. You no longer need to guess the recipes; the dark arts are now fully cataloged for those brave enough to look. 📖 Just Enough Items (JEI) Support Full integration with JEI has been added. Cauldron Alchemy: View all standard transmutation recipes (Apple → Vinegar, Vinegar → Alcohol, etc.). Forbidden Rituals: A special category for Bio-Alchemy. Displays the required item and the Self-Sacrifice requirement (represented by a Player Head). Information Tabs: Added lore and instruction tabs for: Alchemical Ash (Failure mechanics). Rusted Iron (Chemical corrosion). Oxidation (Water/Rain rusting). Vinegar (Preservation setup). ⚗️ Ritual Refinements Bio-Alchemy Overhaul: The mechanics for Soul Ash and Banishment (Emerald) have been moved to the Stick Interaction event. Old: Stand inside the cauldron and hope it detects you. New: Right-click the boiling cauldron with a Stick while the ingredient is floating inside. The ritual is now instant and reliable. Safety Lock: Dropping Emeralds or Alchemical Ash into a boiling cauldron now applies a "Pickup Delay." You can no longer accidentally grab the items back while preparing for a sacrifice. 🐛 Fixes Replaced REI with JEI for better stability. Fixed camera shaking issues when intoxicated. "Knowledge is a burden... carry it well."

Alchemica v1.0 - The Awakening System initialization complete. The vessel is prepared. This is the first public release of Alchemica. It introduces the core mechanics of the mod, focusing on risk-based crafting and survival elements. ⚗️ Mechanics Added: Cauldron Rituals: Right-click a boiling cauldron with a Stick to stir ingredients. The Gamble: Iron + Gold Nugget = Gold Ingot (50% Success Rate). Failure yields Alchemical Ash. Rot System: All food items now age in your inventory. After a set time, they turn into Rotten Flesh. Rust System: Iron Ingots held or dropped in rain will oxidize into Copper Ingots over time. Distillation: Vinegar: Brewed from Apples. Vinegar Cauldron: A physical block for processing food. Alcohol: Brewed from Vinegar + Sugar. Gives Nausea/Strength and creates Preserved Food. The Antenna: Chat is now disabled unless an Antenna is present in your inventory. ✨ Visuals & Polish: Added custom tooltips for "Corrosion" and "Rot". Added the "Distillation" Advancement tab to guide new players. Added "Happy Villager" particles for successful preservation. ⚠️ Known Issues: Don't drink the industrial alcohol. Seriously.
