## [1.0.4 (May 15th, 2026)](#1-4) ### Additions - Sniffers will now have a chance to dig up Nymph Lotus Seeds when in the Sunken Swamp. - You can place these seeds in water for them to grow. - Once fully grown, they will drop a Nymph Lotus when broken and no extra seeds (similar to other Sniffer flowers). - Added Stoplight, a block that can drop from a Frog eating an Ooze. - When triggered by redstone it will cycle between 3 colors. - When one is triggered, it will trigger nearby Stoplights. - Sends a Comparator signal based on its color (0, 8, 15) - Added a new structure that spawns in the amber section of the Preservation Basins. - It's an old archaeology dig site where you can find suspicious gravel. - You have a chance to discover the 3 new pottery sherds (Baby, Breath, and Cube) along with a new armor trim smithing template (Blast). - You can now throw Gel balls, Slick balls, and Ooze balls from a Dispenser. - The blocks/items Amber Ants can harvest is now datapack-able. - The folder is under adventure_catalyst:adventure_catalyst/ant_harvestable. - `"block_state"` is a Simple State Provider of the block they should harvest (ex: fully grown wheat). - `"block_predicate"` is a Block Predicate Filter to match the correct block state placement (ex: farmland underneath). - `"loot_table"` is an Identifier for the loot table that should drop when they harvest (ex: `"minecraft:blocks/wheat"`). - `"can_replant"` is an optional Boolean for if they should replant after harvesting. Defaults to false. - `"replanted_block_state"` is an optional Simple State Provider of the block they should replant (ex: first stage of wheat). Defaults to Air. - To be able to assign an item to an Anthill, it must be in the tag `"adventure_catalyst:items/ant_harvestable"`. - To be able to let ants use up the item they are replanting, it must be in the tag `"adventure_catalyst:items/ant_replantable"`. - You can now use Shears on an Ant Hill to drop one slot of its items. - You can now craft Cyan Dye from a Lesser Lotus. - Added a new advancement called "Memory Leak" - This is granted when breaking an empty Experience Amber Bead. ### Changes - Roasted Marshmallows will now grow cold after 600 world ticks (about 30 seconds), reducing the amount of experience gained from them. - This happens even if you were to put them in a container. - Interpolated the Marshmallow roasting hand animation. - Updated Roasted Marshmallow textures. - Updated Amber Ant AI to use the Brain system (they should hopefully be smarter now). - Amber Ants can be renamed by Anthills multiple times unless they were named by a Player. - You can name the ant or the hill "amber ant" and it will reset their named status. - You can also name the hill "anthill" to remove any ant's names that were not named by a player. - Improved the stone wall between Sunken Swamp's water and other biomes. - Globules can now be mined quicker with a shovel. - Press can now be mined quicker with a pickaxe. - Various Minor Changes. ### Fixes - Fixed various Sinytra Connector crashes. - Slickstep Soles and Gel Padded Knuckles now show their required enchanted items in the recipe book. - Fixed Amber Stairs, Slab, and Wall not having a drop. - Fixed Amber Bricks, Stairs, Slab, and Wall not having a drop. - Anthills should now check that there is an open block next to it that the ants can exit from before generating. - Amber Ants should no longer exit out of a hill when there is no block to exit onto. - Amber Ants should now be able to jump when on Ooze Residue. - All tool types now shatter Amber Beads when breaking. - Fixed Baby Boomer spawners continuing to spawn mobs after torches have been placed. - Eating a Roasted Marshmallow now plays an experience gained sound. - Fixed Dragonflies not properly playing their flight sound when not moving midair. - Fixed Silk Touch not properly removing itself after no longer having the Berry Picking effect. - Fixed being able to compost anything. - Fixed not being able to get Roasted Marshmallow 1. - Fixed tamed Baby Boomers not updating their model properly. - Fixed not being able to swim when underwater with the Water Cross effect. - Fixed missing subtitles. - Various Minor Fixes.

## [1.0.3 (April 24th, 2026)](#1-3) ## The Press Update ### Now requires a minimum Fabric version of 0.19.2 ### Additions - Ants will now farm Cabbages, Onions, and Tomatoes from Farmer's Delight if installed. - Naming an Anthill Block Item names the Amber Ants inside. - Added Wooden Drill-bit to the Drill Block, specialized for blocks broken by the Hoe tool. - Added Press Block, a Redstone-powered Block Entity that can place blocks. - Triggered similar to a dispenser or dropper. - Has a maximum of 5 inventory slots. - Cannot place double blocks, like beds or doors. ### Changes - Updated Baby Boomer texture. - Updated Boomer model and texture. - Updated Ooze mob's model and texture. - Dragonflies no longer target a player if they are riding a Happy Ghast from VanillaBackport. - Dragonfly no longer hovers over lava when out of stamina. - Dragonfly fleeing has been improved. - Dragonfly speed while ridden has been normalized. - Various Minor Changes. ### Fixes - Fixed Amber Ants going too far to harvest and becoming lost. - Fixed Amber Ants sometimes spinning when trying to enter their hill. - Fixed Amber Ants not properly being immune to ooze (should not slow down or sink in it). - Fixed Dragonflies not assigning a special variant properly. - Various Minor Fixes.

## [1.0.2 (April 16th, 2026)](#1-2) ## The Arthropod Update ### Additions - Added Dragonfly and Amber Ant to Arthropods mob tag. - Added new Bane of Arthropods bonus loot mechanics for arthropod mob kills: - Enchantment level-based bonus drops using two unique loot tables for each arthropod mob along with a shared loot table for Level V. - Basic loot tables for Levels 1 and 2. - Premium loot tables for Levels 3 through 5. - Sweep kills at higher enchantment tiers use basic-table drops. - Premium drops are limited via a short chain window + cooldown.
